Saturday Night Presence Journal

His Presence:  What a glorious Presence! The worship continued to linger as people wept and swayed in His awesome anointing. There are no words for me to describe that feeling. It can only be experienced individually.

His Ministry: In Mark, chapters 4 and 5, Jesus visited people who were dealing with some type of crisis. For the woman with the issue of blood, He had to address several needs. Most obvious was the health crisis, but there was also a financial problem and a social dilemma resulting from losing faith in professional health caregivers. But Jesus did not disappoint her. By simply touching the fringes of His prayer shawl, virtuous power radiating from the Lord brought instant healing to her body.

When a howling windstorm arose, Jesus was right there with the disciples (we can all relate with that one). Fast asleep in the bottom of the boat, the Twelve assumed Jesus did not care about their environmental, perceptual crisis. But how wrong they were! When Jesus was aroused, He swiftly calmed the storm and brought them safely to the other side. Now, that is our Jesus! No one else is like JESUS!

A poverty-stricken man living in a grave yard was plagued by a physical, emotional, and spiritual crisis. He had become so wild, he often cut himself. Because no one could tame him, the people of the town had to restrain him with chains and shackles for the protection of all. Yet, with supernatural strength from demonic infestation, he would snap the chains and cut his own flesh. But when Jesus came, his life instantly changed. No longer to be a wild man among the tombs, his mind was restored and his faith in God was strengthened. There’s just no one like Jesus!

His Altar: People came to worship and be healed, some for cancer and heart disease.  Jesus is our Healer. There is nobody like HIM!
