Saturday Night Presence Journal

August 2, 2008

God wonderfully blessed us with the dedication of two beautiful babies. Moms and Dads, you did well! You have warmed my heart.

In a special baptismal service, our Heavenly Father was delighted to see His children obey the command for water baptism. This means God is adding more new families to our congregation.

Tonight's teaching was about the Glory of God. Because of Christ's regenerative work upon the cross, we can receive His DNA, which positions us to be recipients of His Glory. As we believe in Him, it is released into our hearts (John 3:16).

At the close of the service, many approached the altar for physical healing. How grateful we were to see the relatives and friends who had come for the baby dedication looking to Jesus as their Healer. This act of faith must have been so pleasing to God!

The fellowship was rich. And my, what a large group we had tonight. It was probably our largest attendance. People were talking and visiting, and then someone began to play the piano and sing. The first song I heard happened to be the same one I had been humming just before the service began. Isn't God good!

Together in His presence,
